Software Class Details

All classes are six hours, divided between two three-hour sessions.  Classes are taught in our 12-station computer lab, where each student can follow along with the instructor and reinforce concepts taught.  Class sizes are limited to 12 students, so enroll early!

Enrollment

Please call in advance to enroll in a scheduled class.  Prepayment is required for all classes.  We accept cash, checks, corporate accounts, Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.  Click here for pricing options.

Cancellation

Students must cancel an enrollment no later than three business days prior to the class.  If a student cancels within the last three business days prior to the beginning of the class, the student will be assessed a $25 rescheduling fee.  A student who fails to give notice of cancellation prior to the beginning of class will forfeit the class.

Microsoft Windows XP and Vista are the operating systems of choice for home and business users.  Our Windows class includes instruction in computer fundamentals, including working with programs, memory, storage, hardware, and the help system.

Internet

Microsoft Internet Explorer is the most popular software for browsing the World Wide Web.  This class teaches the essentials of the Internet, including browsing, searching, favorites, and e-mail.

Microsoft Access

Microsoft Access is Microsoft's database development application.  Access uses the ODBC (Open DataBase Connectivity) standard to create a relational database including tables, queries, forms, and reports.
